PROMOTIONAL AND SPECIAL EVENTS REPRESENTATIVES – Burnaby, B.C.

This is a full-time position until Labour Day, and part-time in September - October.

What is a Promotions and Special Events Representative?
The Promotions and Special Events Representative is responsible for the positive branding and representation of GoodLife. You’ll engage the public to talk about living the good life, invite them to check out our facilities, and demonstrate how we support our clubs’ communities.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Represent GoodLife Fitness in the community
- Create buzz and excitement about our brand through interactive one-on-one consumer experiences
- Generate quality leads for our sales teams by educating the public about our products and services
- Distribute samples of various products to the general public to increase and maintain brand loyalty
- Gather qualitative feedback, report on results, and achieve daily lead quotas
- Have as much fun as you can and demonstrate what it’s like to live the good life!

Who We’re Looking For:
- Loves to stand out in a crowd, and is energized about talking to the public
- Strong work ethic, and a demonstrated ability to be professional and punctual at all events
- Aptitude for technology, for picture taking and updating media channels
- Strong attention to detail; must be both goal and deadline oriented
- Passion for health and fitness
- Experience in engaging the public, promotions or sales will be considered an asset
- Must have valid drivers’ license

What To Expect:
- Full time hours May – September
- Possibility of long-term offer
- Typical work week is Wednesday – Sunday
- Evening work may be required
- Extensive overnight travel throughout Western Canada
